Here are 41 hilarious finalist photos from the 2023 Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards. These are the shortlisted videos and images from its 2023 contest. They’re all hilarious, and will make you laugh and marvel at this wonderful wildlife that we share our world with. The People’s Choice Award sponsored by Affinity photo is now OPEN. Voting for your favourite funny picture and entering a prize draw for PS 500 are both FREE! !

The final shortlist for this year includes 41 stand-alone photographs, 3 videos, and 3 Portfolio entries, including a kangaroo playing the air guitar, dancing horses, an otter in ballet, and a penguin who is asking directions. The images were selected from thousands of submissions from amateur and professional photographers around the globe. They are a fantastic mix of funny wildlife.

The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards were co-founded by Tom Sullam and Paul Joynson Hicks MBE in 2015. They wanted to create an award that would focus on the lighter side of wildlife photography, but still play a major role in promoting conservation.
